• The biggest circular economy showcase in the Basque Country is still accepting applications

• Basque Circular EXPO will become a networking environment to share experiences and generate business opportunities

The countdown to the 2025 Basque Circular Summit to be held from 2 to 4 April at Euskalduna Bilbao is already underway. This event is a unique opportunity for Basque companies, in their commitment to the circular economy, to promote their innovative solutions in the largest showcase in southern Europe: Basque Circular EXPO.

This edition of the largest circular economy congress in southern Europe, the EXPO, will allow visitors to see first-hand circular products manufactured in the Basque Country. The EXPO aims to provide an overview of the wide variety of solutions that have been manufactured using eco-design methodologies with a life-cycle approach and have, therefore, a substantially reduced environmental impact.

But Basque Circular EXPO is much more than that. It is also a meeting point for networking, exchanging experiences, and generating new business opportunities, shining a spotlight on the efforts of the Basque business fabric in its transition towards the circular economy.

Last days to register

Companies interested in joining this exhibition, where they may showcase up to three of their circular economy products or solutions, still have time. The deadline expires on 28 February.

At the same time, exhibiting companies will compete for the first edition of the Basque Circular BEST awards, promoted by the Basque Government’s Public Company for Environmental Management, Ihobe. These awards will be presented to the best circular economy initiatives in four categories: The most circular product, the most circular service, the most circular business model, and the start-up with the most circular solution.

The 2025 Basque Circular Summit is the main circular economy event in Southern Europe. It will strive to analyse the different challenges and opportunities that the circular economy offers to companies and to the Basque Country’s socio-economic sector as a whole. In addition to a forum for international and local experts, there will be an exhibition of circular solutions developed in the Basque Country, as well as a stand area with the main initiatives and actors working in the circular economy.
