Dr. Roberto Uribeetxebarria is currently the Research and Knowledge Transfer Manager at the Engineering Faculty of Mondragon University He earned his PhD in Mobile Communications from the University of Staffordshire (United Kingdom) in 2001. He was the Research Coordinator at the ICT Unit until the end of 2014, where he took part in several successful Artemis, FP7 and H2020 projects. Roberto was also the manager of the Telematics Research Group within the ICT Unit, where from 2005 to 2015 he coordinated the research activities in the areas of networks, information and network security, embedded systems and data analytics security. In 2007, he became the Mondragon University’s representative at the ARTEMIS Industrial Association, and was a member of the Artemis-AI Steering Committee representing Chamber B (2011-2020). Roberto was also appointed by that Committee to the Presidium, and he held the post of ARTEMIS-AI Vice-President from March 2014 to April 2020.
