Margarita Ruiz Saiz-Aja graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) (1994-1999).
She has been a career civil servant at the Subdirectorate General for Waste since 2005, where she held different posts until she was appointed as Deputy Director, a position she continues to hold.
