Belen graduated in Environmental Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and has a Master’s Degree in Ecology and a Master’s in Integrated Management Systems.
She also has extensive experience in the environment and sustainability, has worked as a university lecturer and taken part in different environmental development cooperation projects. She currently works, at national level, on rolling out climate change mitigation measures for the building sector, town planning and calculating the carbon footprint as Head of Service at the General Subdirectorate for Climate Change Mitigation of the Spanish Climate Change Office (OECC).
