Iñigo has a Master’s Degree in Materials and Mechanical Behaviour from Mondragon University and graduated as an Electrical Industrial Engineer from Bilbao School of Engineering. He began to work with José Ignacio López de Arriortúa as a design engineer in 1997 and has been working at CIE Automotive since 1998. He is closely linked with the university, research and industrial community.
Iñigo has led several R&D collaborative projects in the manufacturing, automotive, sustainability and electrification fields. Projects conducted by international, European and Spanish consortia. He is currently mainly focused on climate change and on analysis and mitigating environmental risks, products and processes. Iñigo has been actively involved in the Basque Ecodesign Center since it was founded.
