Xabier Caño is the Executive Vice-President of the Agaleus Group, Vice-President of Sader, Chairman of ACLIMA and a lawyer.
He graduated in Law from Deusto University and has a Master’s Degree in Fundamental Rights and Public Authorities from the University of the Basque Country.
Xabier embarked on his career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers Consultants as an environmental and business consultant and as a lawyer at MAS Abogados.
He was the legal advisor to the Basque Government’s Minister for the Environment (2005-2006) and Ihobe General Manager (2006–2009).
Xabier is currently the executive vice-president of the Agaleus Goup, which is a group of companies managing industrial waste. In turn, he is a partner at Ekoiure, a law firm focused on urban planning and environmental law.
In the academic field, Xabier lectures on the Cleantech Master’s Degree at the Industrial Engineering Faculty at Deusto University and PMP Professional.
