Raquel Zapatera graduated in Chemical Engineering from Salamanca University and has a degree in Food Science and Technology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She also has an Executive Master’s Degree in Agrifood Business Management from Salamanca University, and another Master’s in Management of Food Safety Systems and Quality. In addition, Raquel has completed different further training courses in sustainability, such as the qualification of Expert in Digital Ecodesign and Packaging from La Rioja University.
Raquel is the Technical Affairs, Operations and Economic Studies Manager at the Spanish Mineral Water Association (ANEABE), a sector in which she has worked for 15 years. She is also the Deputy Chair of the Environment and Sustainability Committee of Natural Mineral Waters Europe (NMWE) and representative of the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB) on the UNE Circular Economy Advisory Committee.
