Raquel has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country. She has over 20 years’ experience in the field of energy in research and industrial projects; she has taken part in over 50 and coordinated European projects. Her activities also include publications, patents and participation in preparing roadmaps in different fields.
Raquel is the Business Development Director at CIC energigune, a centre dedicated exclusively to energy storage and conversion. She is a member of the governing board of BatteryPlat – National Energy Storage Platform and the main CIC energiGUNE representative in Batteries Europe, Batteries 2030+, European Battery Alliance, Flow Batteries Europe and other EU initiatives related to energy storage.
