Patricia Astrain is the founder and CEO of the RECIRCULAR startup, an AI-driven digital platform that connects waste, surpluses and used materials and equipment with other companies that can reuse or recycle them, thus leading to cost savings and social and environmental benefits calculated using its own Impact Measurement Methodology. At Recircular, Patricia disseminates and implements Circular Economy actions in companies and measures the impact, along with rolling out digitalisation and the use of new technologies, such as AI, to drive circularly in companies. Patricia and Recircular have received different prizes and accolades in recognition both for their innovative work and potential for a social and environmental impact, and for the digitalisation of the process to recovery waste for reuse.
