Naroa Sarasua graduated in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Basque Country and has a Master’s Degree in Biodiversity Conservation, Management and Restoration from Granada University. In addition, in 2021, she worked with Cardiff University on a research project into the conservation genetics in brown bear populations. Naroa started her career in environmental consultancy (Ondoan), before taking up the post of environmental technician at the Esnelat milk packaging plant, belonging to the Iparlat group. She is current the Project and Sustainability Manager at the Kaiku Cooperative, where she oversees initiatives in innovation, digitalisation and sustainability, with the emphasis on responsible practices in the livestock sector.
