Chemical Engineer (2004), PhD in Environmental Engineering (2010) and Associate Professor (2018) at the Bilbao School of Engineering (UPV/EHU). As a researcher of the Atmospheric Research Group (GIA-UPV/EHU), Maite specialises in the characterisation of airborne pollution from volatile organic compounds. Furthermore, she is part of the EHU-Aztarna project focused on calculating the Organisation Social and Environmental Footprint using the LCA methodology. Her participation in research contracts and projects has led to the results being published in JCR indexed journals. Maite has been a member of the Academic Committee of the Master’s Degree in Environmental Management and Engineering (UPV/EHU-University of Cantabria). She is currently co-supervising a PhD dissertation and has extensive experience in supervising end-of-degree projects and Master’s theses.
