Ivan is a Computer Engineer, has a Master’s Degree in Smart Systems and Computing Engineering, with extensive experience in cryptography and cybersecurity.
He is currently the DLT & Cybersecurity Manager at TECNALIA, and is the reviewer for IEEE Access, SN Computer Science, IJCDS, along with being a seasoned speaker on blockchain, cybersecurity for finances and cryptography. Ivan is a member of the Hyperledger Speakers Bureau and a visiting professor at ESIC, Business & Marketing School. He has represented TECNALIA in the European Commission’s GDPR project cluster and works with Hyperledger of the Linux Foundation, Alastria and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. He was the acting technology director at Aurea Pay&Pass Solutions S.L. for one year.
During his career, Ivan has been a senior researcher in projects related to cryptographic chips, “contactless” technologies, PKI, mobile security and federated and distributed business environments.
