Amaia graduated in Social Work, has a post-graduate diploma in International Humanitarian Aid and a University Master’s Degree in Migrations, Conflicts and Social Cohesion in the Global Society. Since 2014, she has worked at the ALBOAN Foundation where she runs the Technical Secretariat of the COMPARTE network (Community of Learning and Action for Good Living in Latin America). Amaia had previously worked as a consultant and aid workers for different international cooperation organisations inside and outside the Basque Country.
