Founding Partner and Managing Director at IK Ingeniería, a company where Fransisco has provided private companies and public entities with consultancy services on sustainability, the circular economy and ecodesign for 20 years.
He has worked on measuring the environmental impacts of products and services in many projects of different industrial sectors, from electrical-electronic to metal, to name a few; he has led projects to develop specific environmental assessment methodologies.
In this regard, special mention should made of Francisco’s experience in developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and his role as a verifier of this type of environmental labels; he is certified to audit them in different international programmes (International EPD System, EPDnorge, International Green Mark…), and to verify organisations’ carbon footprints to be entered in the Carbon Footprint, Offsetting and CO2 Removal Registry of the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
