Jaime graduated as a Mining Engineer from Oviedo University and is completing a PhD in business sustainability and innovation from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He is currently a researcher at the Energy and Environment Lab at Orkestra-Basque Institute of Competitiveness, where he is working on projects related to sustainable mobility, energy infrastructures (smart electricity grids, hydrogen, etc.), industrial decarbonisation and energy geopolitics, among other areas. Jaime previously worked in the Environment and Innovation Department at EDP España.
