Juan Carlos Alonso has over 20 years’ experience as an advanced consultant in sustainability, the circular economy and ecodesign for private companies and public authorities. He has worked on implementing circularity and ecodesign strategies in sectors such as the automotive industry, energy-related products and furniture; he has also taken part in different European projects, in some of which as coordinator. Additionally, Juan Carlos has been involved in developing different software tools to support SMEs in the practical application of ecodesign and has experience in continuous improvement, environmental and quality management systems.
