Lecturer in the area of Environmental Technologies at the School of Engineering in Bilbao, and researcher of the Atmospheric Research Group (GIA) of the UPV/EHU.
PhD in Environmental Engineering (2011) with an intense research activity in the field of Air Pollution (meteorological and air quality modelling).
She has participated in European and national projects and in contracts with the administration and companies, which have resulted in articles in indexed journals (JCR) and technical reports.
She teaches in different degrees and postgraduate courses in Spanish, Basque and English, receiving excellent ratings.
Must be highlighted the teaching in the master’s degrees in Engineering and Environmental Management, Circular Economy application to the company and Smart Cities and Communities.
She has carried out several research stays: University of Nevada, University of Aalborg and Paul Scherrer Institute (Switzerland).
Since 2017 she has been the Director of Sustainability and Social Commitment at the UPV/EHU. In addition, she is a member of the Basque Development Cooperation Council, of the Multi-agent Forum of the 2030 Agenda of the Basque Government and the Advisory Council of the Spanish Network for Sustainable Development (REDS), of which she has been 1st Vice-President since December 2020.
