Responsible for the Environmental Sustainability Strategy - Tecnum

Carmen Jaca holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra.

She is currently a researcher and lecturer at Tecnun (University of Navarra), where she teaches various subjects related to operations, strategy and sustainability.

She is responsible for Tecnun’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy and the Sustainable Engineering itinerary.

She works as a researcher in the Industrial Organisation department, on circular economy and sustainability projects.

She has taken part in several national and international research projects on applying the circular economy in SMEs.

She previously worked in various firms as a quality and environmental manager for more than 10 years and regularly works with companies on issues related to the circular economy.

She is the co-author of more than 50 scientific articles and two books on the circular economy and business, published with Aenor and Eunsa.
