Environment Officer - Batz S.Coop.

As Head of the Environmental Management System at BATZ S. Coop for more than 17 years, Lucía Sánchez has extensive experience in the implementation and development of action plans and environmental policies in the company, leading and driving new lines of improvement throughout the BATZ group.

Having graduated in Biology from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of the Basque Country, she began her professional career in the Department of Plant Biology and Ecology. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Environmental Technology and Management. She is a specialist in management systems, complementing her training as a Local Agenda 21 technician and senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention for the specialities of Occupational Safety, Ergonomics and applied psychology and Industrial Hygiene.
