Head of Environment in Global Sustainability Management (ESG) - Telefónica

Lucía Monforte is an agricultural engineer, specialised in the environment. She has a master’s degree in Environmental Management and Control in the company and a master’s degree in Civil Works Construction Sciences.

After 15 years of experience, she began working in consulting and engineering. Most of her professional career has been developed at FCC Construcción, being responsible for the Environment and CSR department, developing tasks such as the maintenance of the EMS, analysis of environmental legislation, the provision of environmental training, the preparation of environmental communication and sustainability report, the annual preparation of the organisation’s carbon footprint or participation in external environmental and sustainable construction working groups.

She currently works in Telefónica’s Global Sustainability Management (ESG), where she collaborates in defining corporate environmental strategies (climate action plan, emission compensation, circular economy, biodiversity or internal carbon price), providing support to the different operators in their environmental management and participating in the organisation’s reporting and providing feedback to investors and analysts.
