Head of the strategic areas - Mobility and Logistics Cluster of the Basque Country

Leire has been responsible for the strategic areas of Logistics 4.0 and Clean Mobility and Logistics of the Mobility and Logistics Cluster of the Basque Country since March 2021. Her responsibilities include managing and coordinating R&D&I projects at regional, state and European levels; streamlining working groups; providing advice to SMEs in their innovation process; and participating in industry reference forums and trade fairs.

From 2019 to 2021 she was Director of mobility and infrastructure projects at the engineering firm DAIR Engineering & Consulting. She had previously worked on project management in CAF’s bidding department. Between 2014 and 2018 she developed her professional career in London, where she worked in the engineering firms Jacobs and AECOM, and also in the public administration (Transport for London).
