Iñigo Loizaga graduated in Industrial Engineering from the EHU-UPV and has a Master’s Degree in Materials and Mechanical Performance from Mondragon University.
He started out as a Design Engineer in the Carmen Project with José Ignacio López and he has since been linked with CIE Automotive. He has always had strong links with university and research world. Loizaga headed CIC marGUNE for 10 years and supported a community of over 300 researchers in advance manufacturing. He has also worked as an associate lecturer on the Tecnun Master’s Degree and at Deusto University. He focuses on incorporating sustainability criteria from the first steps of creating innovation in products and processes.
