Iñigo Aizpuru is the head of the Basque Ecodesign Center, a public-private partnership alliance which generates applied knowledge, and of the Basque Circular HUB, a centre for advanced services in the circular economy field, platforms intended to integrate environmental factors to make the Basque business world more competitive.

He is a chemical engineer, specialising in the environment, a graduate of the UPV/EHU School of Engineering, with a master’s degree in climate change from the University of Exeter.

After a 12-year career in environmental consultancy, he has been working as a circular economy expert at Ihobe since January 2019.
