Executive director - Slow Fashion Next

Gema is the Founder and Executive Director of the Training and Dissemination Platform, offering expertise in Fashion, Sustainability, Circularity and Regeneration, Slow Fashion Next since 2011, as well as of the Sustainable Fashion and Positive Impact Fashion brands. After working for large fashion chains in Madrid and in trend institutes in Paris, Gema decided to start a new way of understanding and experiencing fashion, from a perspective that rises to the 21st century’s social and environmental challenges.

She has taught courses at various Universities and Business Schools such as Instituto Empresa in Madrid, Le Centre Européen des Textiles Innovants in France, in incubators such as Semillero Moda Sustentable México and companies such as Línea Directa in Colombia, El Corte Inglés in Madrid or Gioseppo in Alicante.
