PhD in Engineering from the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón. Since 1996, he has worked as a lecturer in the Department of Mechanics and Industrial Production and is a researcher in the Circular Economy and Industrial Sustainability (ECSI) group at Mondragon University’s Higher Polytechnic School.
The research group is dynamic and carries out high quality and high impact R&D projects in the fields of circular economy and sustainable development. It works closely with industries, business associations and public bodies in the Basque Country, Spain and Europe to facilitate a sustainable transition to the circular economy. The main objective of this research group is to help companies improve their resource efficiency and economic performance without adversely affecting the environment and society. His research at ECSI focuses on investigating the circular economy and sustainability from an industrial design perspective (eco-design, eco-innovation, eco-efficiency and people-centred design).
