City and Territory Director - KREAN

Azucena Marquinez López is the City and Territory Director at KREAN S. Coop, backed by over 20 years of professional experience in this field.

She is a Civil Engineer, graduating from ETICCP in Santander (2000) and specialising in Construction, Organisation and Management.

She holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Business (2019) from the University of Deusto and a Master’s degree in the Circular Economy (2021) from the University of the Basque Country.

She joined KREAN in 2004, and has built her career on hydraulic engineering projects concerning urban supply, repair, irrigation, flood studies, as well as urbanisation and road layout projects.

She is a hydraulics and hydrology specialist and has extensive experience in hydraulic risk management as well as flood risk management and reduction plans in river environments.
