Coordinator of the Marine Technologies Area - AZTI BRTA

PhD in Physical Oceanography (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, 2006) and Coordinator of the Marine Technologies area at AZTI.

Her research work focuses on understanding the oceanic processes in the Bay of Biscay, shelf-slope circulation and its variability, as well as aspects related to operational oceanography and its application in different sectors or problems, such as transporting floating marine debris.

She is the author/co-author of more than 50 scientific articles and more than 70 international conferences.

She has supervised 3 doctoral theses and participated in the review of numerous scientific projects, articles and book chapters.

She is an editor for the Ocean Science and Frontiers in Marine Science journals, and a member of international expert groups in operational oceanography.
