Sustainability Manager - Uvesco

Amaia Oritz de Elguea graduated in Environmental Sciences and then went on to study for a Master’s Degree in “Biodiversity, Functioning and Management of Ecosystems”, both at the University of the Basque Country.

After working in different environmental areas, including urban sustainability at the ICLEI headquarters (in Freiburg, Germany), she began to specialise in the circular economy, thanks to the training given by Ihobe.

She has been working as the sustainability manager at Uvesco for 2 years, where she coordinates topics related to the environment and corporate social responsibility.
