Socio-economic analysist at the Directorate-General for Environment - European Commission

Jesús Alquézar Sabadie graduated in Political Science and Sociology (University of the Basque Country) and in Economics (UNED), and completed post-graduate studies in European Politics (Free University of Brussels) and in Applied Social Research (Sociological Research Centre).

He is currently working as a socio-economic analyst at the European Commission’s DG-Environment, where his remit is mainly in areas related to energy, climate change and their connections to the environment and its policies, particularly the circular economy.
